A. To avoid touch the lens with skin
We should try to prevent the spectacle lenses from touching the skin and keep the nose side of the spectacle frame and the lower edge of the spectacle lens away from the cheeks, so as to reduce the contact with sweat.
We should also clean our glasses every morning when we wash face. Clean the floating ash particles on the glasses lenses with water, and absorb the water with lens cleaning cloth. It is advisable to use weak alkaline or neutral care solution, rather than medical alcohol.
B. The glasses frame should be disinfected and maintained
We can go to the optical shop or use a neutral care solution to clean the temples, mirrors, and leg covers. We can also use ultrasonic equipment to clean glasses.
For the plate frame (commonly known as "plastic frame"), due to the extreme heat in summer, it is prone to bending deformation. In this case, you should go to the optical shop for plastic adjustment. To avoid damage to the skin from the aged plate frame material, it is better to disinfect the sheet metal frame with medical alcohol every two weeks.
C. TIPS of glasses maintenance
1. Take off and wear the glasses with both hands, handle with care, and put the lens upside when placing them, and store them in the lens case when not needed.
2. If the spectacle frame is tight or uncomfortable or the screw is loose, we should adjust the frame at the optical shop.
3. After using the glasses every day, wipe off the oil and sweat acid on the nose pads and frame in time.
4. We should clean the cosmetics and other beauty products with chemical ingredients from the frame as they are easy to fade the frame.
5. Avoid putting glasses in high temperature, such as heaters, enclosed car in summer, sauna house.
