Hereby we would like to inform all the customers about two important holidays in the following months.
National Holiday: Oct 1 to 7, 2022
Chinese New Year Holiday: Jan 22 to Jan 28, 2023
As we know, all the companies specializing in international business are suffering from the CNY holiday every year. It is the same situation for the optical lens industry, no matter the lens factories in China or the abroad customers.
For CNY 2023, we are to close from Jan 22 to Jan 28 for the public holiday. But the actual negative influence will be much longer, from around Jan 10 to Feb 10, 2023. The continuous quarantine for COVID makes it even worse in recent years.
1. For factories, the production department will be forced to reduce the capacity step by step from early Jan, as some immigrant workers will go back hometown for holiday. It will unavoidably exacerbate the pains of the already tight production schedule.
After the holiday, though our sales team returns back immediately on Jan 29, the production department needs to restart step by step and resume to full capacity till Feb 10, 2023, waiting for old immigrant worker’s return and recruitment for more new workers.
2. For local transportation companies, as per our experience, they will stop collecting and sending the goods from our city to Shanghai port around Jan 10, and even early Jan for loading port like Guangzhou/Shenzhen.
3. For shipping forwarders for international shipments, due to the extremely too many cargoes catching for shipment before holiday, it will inevitably lead to other problems, like traffic congestion in the port, warehouse burst, big increase of shipping cost and so on
Order Plan
In order to ensure all the customers have enough stock inventory during our holiday season, we sincerely ask for your kind cooperation on the following aspects.
1. Please consider the workability to increase the order quantity a little more than actual demand, to ensure the potential sales increase in our holiday season.
2. Please place the order as early as possible. We do suggest placing orders before end of Oct, if you are planning to ship them out before our CNY holiday.
